FOLKTALES is a collection of unique and authentic home textiles inspired by the poetry and dance of colours, textures and fabrics from the North Macedonian folklore .
Feel the texture of this original hand – crafted textile made in the 18th century by macedonian women as pieces of traditional clothes worn on ceremonies, weddings and all life celebrating events. Every piece is individualy hand woven from home produced wool, richly hand dyed using all natural pigments , hand knotted with multicoloured embroidery whereas some panels are joined toghethed and embroided with a rustic stitch.
On the other side you’ll meet the finest elegance of Italian fabrics like velvet, wool and cotton.
This Collection is amalgam of ingredients from customs and countries with strong influence of cross cultural design, where the “East meets the West”
